The Clerk’s office is the hub of City Government. The inner workings of this department are what make your City function in the most efficient way possible. This department has seen many changes in the last four years. It has flourished and grown with our Community along with providing state of the art technology.
The Clerk’s Office has eight employees working within this department, each having specific duties and responsibilities. The Clerk’s office is responsible for all State, Federal, Local and School Election, and accounting functions including; financial reporting, accounts payable, payroll and benefits, water/sewer billing and maintenance of the City’s cemetery records. The Clerk’s Office also processes all of the planning and zoning applications within the City of New Baltimore.
